Are there any restrictions to apply?
You must be at least 18 years of age by September 1, 2013 and at least one of the following in order to be eligible to participate: (a) a U.S. citizen or permanent resident; or (b) have the appropriate U.S. visa to legally participate in the series as determined by Producer. All those interested in participating will be required to complete and sign additional documents as required by the producers (which may include, without limitation, an application, a participant agreement, and series rules) in order to be considered to participate.
Do I need an agent or manager in order to be considered for the show?
No, you do not need any modeling experience to apply for the show. We are looking for all types of female models regardless of experience. Whether you have a full resume or none at all, we want to consider you! Whether you think you have what it takes to be a model or you are currently working as a model, you are encouraged to apply.

*If you live in the Southern California area, be sure to pre-register. A casting producer may get directly in touch with you to come in for an in person audition.
**If you do NOT live in the Southern California, be sure to pre-register AND mail in a video and application.
Once submitted, you will receive an email confirmation that we received your form. By pre-registering, you will receive up-to-date information on all casting information. If you live in the Los Angeles area and pre-register, someone from our casting team may call you!
What do I need to bring/wear to the open call?
1. Pre-register your profile in advance (PRE-REGISTER HERE).
2. Download the application form HERE and bring it with you to an open call.
3. Bring your portfolio (if you have one) and/or any photos of yourself
4. Bring your resume (if you have one)
THE LOOK: KEEP IT SIMPLE
MAKE-UP: Please wear little to no make-up. We want to see you look as natural as possible.
HAIR: Wear your hair in a simple style; down or in a simple ponytail that can be set loose is best.
SHOES: Wear comfy shoes, but bring heels you can walk well in.
CLOTHES: Wear something that shows your figure. Jeans & tee is perfectly acceptable. Also, wear a flattering swimsuit under your clothes; better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
NOTE: It is not necessary to bring a VIDEO if you are attending the open call.
Can I bring friends and family to the audition with me?
Family, friends, managers, agents, etc. will NOT be allowed at the audition. They are allowed to be at the open call but once you get into the audition room they will be instructed to wait outside.
When and where will the open call be held?
The open call will be held at Chelsea Studios, 151 West 26th Street, 6th Floor, New York, NY 10001, Between 6th and 7th Avenues on Sunday, July 21st, 2013. Please visit www.thefacecasting.com/open-calls for the most up-to-date information on open call locations, dates and times.
If I cannot attend an open call, how do I submit a video and application?

Only a DVD, MINI DV, SD CARD or WEB LINKS will be accepted. (We will NOT accept Mini DVD, VHS or Hi-8 tapes). You must include your application and a recent photo of yourself.

Should I send in a video submission if I plan to attend an open call?
There is NO need to send in a home video submission if the casting team will have the opportunity to meet you in person at an open call
If I submit an official video submission, when will I know if I'm being considered for the show?
If you submit a video submission by sending us a DVD, MINI DV, SD CARD or WEB LINKS, we will contact you ONLY if you are being considered for the show. If you have not heard from the casting team by September 1st, 2013 then you are NOT being considered for The Face's upcoming season.
Do you charge for the auditions?
We do NOT charge for auditions. Auditions are free.
I have been contacted by an outside company charging a fee to audition.
DO NOT PAY THEM! These companies are in NO WAY affiliated with the casting auditions for The Face. There is not an admittance fee for any of the open calls.
Is there a charge for parking at the open call venue(s)?
There may be a parking fee at the venue. The parking fees are set and collected by the venue manager. We have nothing to do with the parking fees or facilities.
